How it works

Implementation

Workshops can Integrate into and expand upon existing curriculum, offer training via advisory or curriculum designer methods.

Student Engagement

ExCL Facilitates much needed peer connections through activities tailored to student preferences; discovered through surveys and interviews.

Assessment through performance tasks, digital workbooks and workshop participation. Feedback provided through Google Classroom and in-person evaluation.

November 2023

Launch first workshop in Tulare, based upon student interest and administrative input.

February 2024

Launch one additional workshop in Tulare, based upon student interest, feedback from first workshop and staff interest in helping facilitate workshop.

Spring 2024

Begin launching additional workshops in Tulare based upon student interest, staff feedback and review of student data.

August 2024

Review student data, continue to improve and grow new workshops in Tulare. Explore the potential of expansion and replication into other local sites (Hanford or Visalia)

2024 and beyond

Compile and review data with the hope to grow the program into the full North region and beyond. Look into the possibility of finding dedicated ExCL point people at every charter.
